We are currently seeking a Remote Medical Writer to join our growing team and help communicate our services, medical topics, and patient-centered stories in a clear and compliant manner.

Overview:

As a Medical Writer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, accurate, and engaging written content related to senior care, home health services, chronic conditions, and wellness. This role supports marketing, education, and compliance efforts and requires collaboration with clinical staff and leadership to ensure content aligns with our brand and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and proofread a variety of medical and health-related content for websites, brochures, blogs, newsletters, and social media.
  • Translate complex medical information into reader-friendly materials for patients, caregivers, and the public.
  • Write case studies, client success stories, and caregiver spotlights that reflect our mission and values.
  • Collaborate with marketing and care staff to ensure clinical accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of home healthcare trends, senior health issues, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, CMS).
  • Assist with the creation of training materials or internal documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, Journalism, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in medical writing or health communication.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate medical terminology clearly to non-clinical audiences.
  • Experience working in or writing about home healthcare, elder care, or chronic disease management preferred.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
