About the Role

The Fitness & Health Coach plays a key role in delivering a premium client experience in our signature program, The Fit & Fulfilled Academy. You’ll provide coaching, feedback, and accountability to help clients achieve their goals while building strong, trusting relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete the Fit & Fulfilled Academy Coach Training to learn our frameworks, strategies, and best practices.
  • Communicate with clients via Slack to answer questions and provide ongoing support.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on client assignments and projects.
  • Lead weekly client calls, facilitating breakthroughs and providing tailored guidance.
  • Assign customized workout plans via the fitness app and meal plans based on client preferences and consult forms.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings with management and staff.

What Does Success Look Like?

  • Respond promptly to clients, making them feel supported and heard.
  • Coach clients effectively by diagnosing challenges and offering actionable solutions.
  • Build strong, personal relationships with clients to foster trust and engagement.
  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback that helps clients progress.
  • Master our coaching strategies and frameworks to deliver expert-level guidance.
  • Show meticulous attention to detail when assigning client meal and workout plans.

Requirements

  • Experience working with African American women preferred
  • Experience in coaching, training, or mentoring in a 1:1 or group capacity.
  • High emotional intelligence with excellent listening and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple client conversations simultaneously.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and reliable with excellent follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills and openness to constructive feedback.
  • Availability Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM EST for messaging communication via Community and 2 evenings per week for coaching calls.

Training and Hours

  • Training: 30–60 days, ~20 hours of self-paced learning and 3 hours/week for meetings and shadowing on coaching calls.
  • Post-Training: After training, ~5 hours/week with opportunities for additional hours as your client roster grows.

Compensation

  • Training Period: $500/month.
  • Post-Training: $1,000/month base pay (~5 hours/week).
  • Income Growth: Coaches with a larger client roster and commissions for client renewals typically earn $2,500/month for ~10 hours/week.
