Job Title: Creative Graphic Designer (Part Time - Remote) Location: Nashville, TN Duration: 3 Months Pay Rate: $50/hr on C2C / 1099 all inclusive (OR) $45/hr on W2 Job Description The client is undergoing a strategic rebranding process to establish a unified, modern, and recognizable identity. This includes the development of a refined logo, updated agency materials, and a clear brand system that reflects the agency's values and strategic direction. A contracted part-time graphic designer will support this initiative by delivering high-quality visual assets and design systems that align with messaging and outreach goals. This position will work 20 hours/week for a span of approx. three months. This position is remote and has a flexible work schedule Monday-Friday. Preferred candidate would reside in Tennessee. We will provide necessary technology for the term of the contract. Qualifications Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, or related field preferred. Ability to work independently. Strong communication skills. Deliverables 1. Logo Refinement and Finalization Refine or redesign the THEC logos based on direction from leadership and stakeholder input. Provide final logo files in all necessary formats (AI, EPS, PNG, SVG, JPG). Include variations (horizontal, stacked, color, grayscale, icon-only) for flexible use. 2. Agency-Wide Material Recreation Redesign key agency documents and templates to reflect the updated brand. Examples include, but not limited to: fact sheets, brochures, letterhead, PowerPoint slides, email banners, and reports. Provide templates in editable formats (e.g., InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, Canva, etc.) for ongoing use. 3. Brand Guidelines Development Create a comprehensive brand guidelines document that includes: Logo usage rules and spacing Color palette Typography hierarchy and usage Icon and image style Graphic elements and visual tone Guidance for accessibility and ADA compliance Deliver both digital (PDF) and editable formats. 4. Social Media Graphics Develop a series of branded social media templates for announcements, events, and campaign messaging. Design platform-specific elements (LinkedIn, Twitter/X), including: Cover images Profile graphics Highlight icons Ensure templates are editable and easy for internal communications staff to update. 5. Board of Trustees Event Materials Design branded collateral for the October Board of Trustees event, including: Event signage Presentation deck (PowerPoint) Name badges Printed programs or one-pagers Event-branded visuals or animations for digital displays 6. Website Asset Support Collaborate with internal communications staff to provide visual assets for the website. Deliver updated graphics, banners, icons, and other visual elements as needed. Ensure visual consistency and brand alignment across key landing pages.
