Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Genesis10 is seeking a Data Management Analyst for a contract position that will work remotely. The role involves gathering and managing data related to existing applications to support a cloud migration project, as well as designing methods for data collection and maintaining a centralized data repository.


Responsibilities

  • Gather data about existing applications by interviewing application owners and technical teams.
  • Develop and administer data collection surveys to capture key application attributes.
  • Enter and manage application data in ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture, Excel, and potentially Microsoft Access.
  • Design repeatable, scalable methods for collecting and updating application data.
  • Maintain a centralized data repository to support the cloud migration project.
  • Build and manage data imports/exports between systems and tools.
  • Review and validate existing reports; identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Define and document process flows for data collection and tracking.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to complete and verify submitted information.

Skills

  • Strong data management and data gathering experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture or similar tools.
  • Background working on internal IT projects where IT is both the customer and executor.
  • Understanding of cloud migration projects or enterprise IT infrastructure.
