This hybrid leadership role will shape the organization’s technological foundation, oversee full-stack development, strengthen cybersecurity, and elevate customer-facing digital experiences. Your leadership will directly impact how our members engage with their health and how our teams deliver best-in-class services across multiple locations.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p>The Senior Director of IT will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Product, Marketing, and Innovation. You will be responsible for shaping our digital ecosystem—from mobile app enhancements and backend infrastructure to member experience design and data security. This role is primarily remote, with periodic on-site days at our West Hollywood, CA headquarters.</p><p><br></p><p><b>What to Expect / What You’ll Do</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Technology Strategy & Digital Innovation</b></p><p>Define and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with organizational goals</p><p>Lead the architecture of scalable, secure, cloud-native systems across web, app, backend, and APIs</p><p>Drive technology modernization through adoption of microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices</p><p>Champion full-stack engineering and agile product development focused on innovation and performance</p><p><br></p><p><b>Mobile & Digital Experience Leadership</b></p><p>Oversee the continuous development and optimization of the Next Health mobile app</p><p>Lead UX/UI strategy and design execution across digital touchpoints, ensuring intuitive, brand-consistent experiences</p><p>Collaborate with AI/ML teams to embed intelligent features, including personalization and automation</p><p>Enhance digital member tools for onboarding, booking, service tracking, and engagement</p><p><br></p><p><b>Cybersecurity & Compliance</b></p><p>Design and manage an enterprise-level cybersecurity strategy</p><p>Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all applicable data privacy regulations</p><p>Conduct routine security audits, threat assessments, and incident response exercises</p><p><br></p><p><b>Team Leadership & Vendor Management</b></p><p>Build and lead a high-performing, agile technology team</p><p>Define clear roles, KPIs, and development paths that align with company goals</p><p>Manage key vendor and technology partner relationships to drive performance and cost efficiency</p><p><br></p><p><b>Business Continuity & Project Oversight</b></p><p>Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans</p><p>Lead cross-functional technology initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, scope, and budget</p><p>Create and manage the IT roadmap with quarterly and annual milestones</p><p><br></p><p><b>What You’ll Bring</b></p><p>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred)</p><p>Minimum of 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience in high-growth environments</p><p>Expertise in full-stack architecture, mobile app development, and digital UX/UI</p><p>Strong command of cloud-native platforms, API-first design, and DevOps methodologies</p><p>Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, HIPAA compliance, and secure coding practices</p><p>Experience working with multi-location service businesses or franchise models preferred</p><p>Proven success building and leading high-performance technology teams</p><p>Executive presence and ability to influence cross-functional senior leadership</p><p><br></p><p><b>Our Culture & Perks</b></p><p>At Next Health, we are mission-driven innovators committed to optimizing health and transforming lives. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
