Sr. Systems Analyst - Oracle Finance

F5 is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a focus on Oracle Finance to join our Employee Experience (EX) team. This role will provide dedicated support and strategic implementation for our core financial processes within Oracle, specifically focusing on meeting the complex operational, compliance, and reporting needs of our EMEA and APJC regions. You will serve as the functional expert, translating regional financial requirements into scalable and compliant system solutions. Responsibilities Oracle Financials System Expertise & Ownership: Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for key modules within the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud Financials (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Tax). Regional Business Partnership (EMEA/APJC): Collaborate extensively with regional Finance, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders in the EMEA and APJC regions to deeply understand their local regulatory, statutory, and operational requirements. Functional Configuration & Implementation: Drive the full solution lifecycle for Oracle Finance enhancements, including requirement gathering, functional design, configuration, testing (UAT support), and deployment, ensuring solutions adhere to global architecture while meeting local compliance. Process Optimization & Compliance: Analyze current financial processes, identify opportunities for automation and optimization within Oracle, and ensure all system configurations support regional-specific reporting, tax calculations, and compliance needs. Integration and Data Integrity: Work closely with integration and engineering teams to define specifications for inbound/outbound interfaces between Oracle Financials and other systems (e.g., Coupa, Workday, regional banking systems), guaranteeing data accuracy and consistency across the regions. Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed functional design documents, standard operating procedures, and training materials customized for end-users and super-users in the supported regions. Production Support & Issue Resolution: Provide Tier 2/3 functional support for Oracle Financials, troubleshoot complex issues related to configurations, data, and regional processes, and manage the resolution process with technical teams. Qualifications Experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in a corporate finance environment. Hands-on experience with configuration and implementation of multiple modules in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud Financials. Demonstrated experience supporting or implementing Oracle Financials for organizations with significant operations in the EMEA and/or APJC regions, including specific knowledge of multi-currency, regional tax, and statutory reporting requirements. Strong functional understanding of core financial accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and end-to-end finance processes (R2R, O2C, P2P). Proven ability to bridge the gap between complex financial business requirements and scalable, technical configurations within the Oracle system. Experience with period-end close processes and system dependencies within a global enterprise environment. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders across geographical boundaries and organizational levels.
