POSITION PURPOSE

The Client Investment Reporting Specialist is responsible to provide clients with custom and standardized reports in relation to their portfolio and on broad topics, including performance, analytics, attribution, compliance, peer groups, and enterprise risk. The specialist will provide clients with a platform to raise their enquiries and request, to which s/he will provide clients with support and assistance on their queries.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the end-to-end production and distribution process for completing repeatable and ad-hoc client reporting packages for specified business unit(s). The workflow involves sourcing data from various systems, coordinating with different internal teams for sources, compiling data into different systems or software, and distributing via the reporting platform.
  • Ensure production timeliness, while meeting quality and compliance requirements.
  • Responsible for the liaison with internal stakeholders on client report requirements and enquiries. This involves negotiation, establishment, and management of deadline feasibilities, prioritizing other requirements with these stakeholders, while managing the client/distribution teams expectations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, geared towards improving client service, operational efficiency, and/or output quality. Serves as a participant in firm-wide initiatives and system enhancements, especially as a subject-matter-expert in client reporting.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associated degree and 3+ years experience working in the Asset Management industry, with client reporting experience preferred.
  • Good understanding of investment and fund industry, including performance and investment strategies.
  • Strong technical skills on Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and learn new technology and/or processes quickly.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
