Job Type: Full-Time

We are hiring a dependable, results-driven, exciting Shipping & Warehouse Attendant to support daily warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations. As a Shipping & Warehouse Attendant you will represent Sunnen Products Company in the delivery of precision honing equipment, engine rebuilding equipment, and tooling and abrasives. This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse work, material handling, shipping & receiving, and forklift operation. The right candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and ship domestic and international orders accurately and on time. Load and unload trucks using forklifts and powered industrial equipment. Perform shipping and receiving duties including labeling, documentation, and staging freight. Prepare Bills of Lading, packing lists, and shipping paperwork. Ensure compliance with DOT, 49 CFR, and IATA shipping regulations. Receive materials, verify counts, and move inventory to designated warehouse locations. Use barcode scanners and Oracle ERP system to track inventory transactions. Performing cycle counts and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies. Process customer returns (RMAs) and coordinate with Quality and Customer Service departments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and dock area. Operate high-bay equipment including turret picker and cranes as needed. Schedule freight pickups and coordinate with carriers for outbound shipments.

Qualifications

High School diploma, GED, and/or applied trade school education. Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word). Ability to read work orders, pick lists, and shipping documentation. Strong attention to detail, safety, and accuracy. Ability to work independently, and as part of a team, in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

1-3 years of warehouse, shipping & receiving, or material handling experience. Forklift experience required (certification preferred, but Sunnen will provide training and certification). Hazardous material shipping or handling experience. Experience with Oracle ERP or similar inventory systems. High-bay warehouse or turret truck experience

Physical Requirements

Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25-50 lbs frequently. Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
