SEO Analyst - Full Time

Direct Agents is on the search for an SEO Analyst in our NYC office, who will assess and develop SEO strategy for a variety of mid to large-sized clients, and act as SEO expert for both internal and external teams.

This role pays $85k-$95k depending on experience.

The Role

  • Overseeing SEO client base and functioning as the primary contact for assigned SEO clients
  • Ensuring excellent communication and progress with SEO client accounts
  • Experience performing in-depth SEO audits and migrations
  • Hands-on optimization and management of projects to improve Traditional and AI search rankings via on-site and off-site optimizations and recommendations
    • AI Search Strategies
    • Technical SEO
    • On-page optimizations
    • Content production and planning
    • Link building
    • Working knowledge of website UX/UI
  • Holding client status calls and report on campaign results, SEO work, and data analysis
  • Measuring SEO strategy success using data from GSC and GA4.
  • Ensuring deliverables are met in a timely fashion and client expectations are set and exceeded
  • Developing and improving processes, reports, knowledge and communication
  • Utilizing and adopting the latest SEO platforms and tools
  • Stay abreast of the latest search engine changes and updates, and help steer the overall SEO strategy

Desired Background

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO with a proven track record, preferably with an agency
  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and updates
  • Experience utilizing SEO tools, Search Console, Google Analytics, ScreamingFrog, SEMRush, Shopify, VWO, and/or related tools.
  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of HTML, website design, and web analytics. CSS and Javascript a plus
  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask and manage time efficiently
  • Ability to work in teams and/or individually to meet client goals
  • Passion for the world of SEO!

This role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.
