The Position: Sales Manager


Overview:

AKIRA Sales Managers are fanatical sales people, goal-drivenservant leaders. They ensure that our customers are styled by experts who eat, sleep, and breathe fashion. We live to make our customers lookfeel good! They relentlessly hiretrain to ensure their store has top-notch talent! Through leading by example and thinkingacting like an owner, our managers stop at nothing to achieve their personalstore goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, interviewing,hiring new employeesmanagers
  • Training, developing,retaining top-notch employeesmanagers
  • Developingmaintaining a high store morale
  • Reinforcingimproving our selling culture through our 5 steps of selling
  • Delivering in the momentwritten feedback
  • Acting as a supreme motivator for employeesmanagers
  • Ensuring store operations and visual presentation are up to AKIRA's standards
  • Upholding and enforcing all of AKIRA's policies
  • Achievingsurpassing individual sales goals
  • Achievingsurpassing the store's daily, weekly,monthly sales goals
  • Leading by example to promote and exemplify AKIRA's culture,code of conduct through our 4 principles

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in retail management
  • Ability to supervise, motivate,direct employees effectively

  • In-depth knowledge of visual merchandisingcustomer service
  • In-depth knowledge of store operations including: inventory control, loss prevention, retail systems,store budget preparation
  • Ability to work in a highly entrepreneurial environment, where being hands-on is critical to our store's success
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and establishsustain strong relationships with employeesmanagers

Physical Requirements:

  • Move product, supplies and/or boxes repetitively; ability to push, pull, lift a maximum of 50 lbs. based on needs of the role
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time, including a 10-12 hour shift

Job Type: Full Time

At AKIRA, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices. The starting pay for this position is $60,000 - $72,000 annually, and may be adjusted based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors. Additional compensation and benefits may also apply and will be discussed during the hiring process.
