You build your book of business. We provide structured training, supervised reviews, and career pathways.What You’ll Do• Prepare accurate federal and state individual returns (and small business/Schedule C) in TaxSlayer Pro; manage clients and documentation in CRM.• Communicate clearly with clients: gather documents, explain outcomes in plain language, and document every interaction in CRM.• Apply IRS due-diligence standards (including Form 8867 when required) and stay current on updates.• Uphold Elite security: work via VPN/MFA and use approved, encrypted channels only.What You’ll BringExperienced• 1+ year preparing personal and/or business returns; strong command of deductions/credits.• Proven client communication and retention skills.Entry-Level• Eagerness to learn; professionalism; strong communication and organization.• Comfortable with computers and online platforms.For All• PTIN required (or obtained before filing work begins).• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and document work in CRM.• Tech/Security readiness: reliable computer and internet; VPN/MFA; antivirus; password manager (firm provides licenses/access where applicable).State registrations: In certain states (e.g., CA, NY, OR), additional preparer registration/exam may apply; we’ll help you navigate or route clients accordingly.How We Support You• Training: Structured onboarding, TaxSlayer training, Tax and IRS due-diligence refreshers.• Professional Tools: Secure tax software, and CRM• Quality & Compliance: ERO-controlled e-filing, documented workflows, and manager escalation when cases get complex.Work Model• Fully remote — serve clients nationwide within our compliance framework.• Seasonal focus with pathways into leadership, or advisory as you grow.We don’t just prepare taxes.
