Job Description

We are looking for energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Personal Trainer, reporting to the Head Coach and Studio Manager to join our team. This is a full-time or part-time hourly position great for candidates looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.

  • Lead and motivate group classes with high levels of energy minute after minute while providing individualized attention to members who need that extra push
  • Have the ability to build an engaging clientele base by administering fitness assessments and safely conducting personal training sessions
  • Possess the organization skills and ability to maintain multiple clients and multiple group training classes throughout the week
  • Modify specific exercises to accommodate various fitness levels and abilities
  • Serve as an example of healthy living and motivation within your community
  • Naturally exhibit a positive, friendly and enthusiastic personality that’ll inspire and push our members and staff
  • Administer fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching and personal training sessions
  • Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all club services, programs and products
  • Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment and dynamically moving heavy weights
  • Provide each member and potential member with the best quality customer service
  • Adjust and operate all fitness equipment
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Attend Personal Training related meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification- Required
  • CPR/AED certification
  • 1-5 yrs of previous Personal Training experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent English required, other languages appreciated
  • Possess honesty and personal integrity
  • Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
  • Excel in time management, organizational and follow-up skills
  • Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, and friendly

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position which may include standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling and lifting heavy weights.
