The Operational Excellence Specialist has responsibility for supporting the country's operational excellence and lean transformation to achieve World Class Operations Management. This role will support company stakeholders to execute "needle-moving" process improvement initiatives across operations, simplifying the process landscape and enhancing the ability of all processes to deliver on time, on budget and with world class service level to the customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop strategic roadmaps to drive operational excellence and optimize business expenditure, ensuring alignment with the annual budget and business objectives.
  • Champion a "Stop and Fix" World-Class Operations Management culture by implementing structured daily tiered accountability meetings and actively encouraging problem-solving among operations stakeholders.
  • Facilitate in-depth reviews of operations performance, presenting key metrics, insights, and progress updates on cost-saving initiatives to local and regional leaders, thereby driving informed decision-making and strategic alignment.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, including finance, operations, and leadership, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of OPEX initiatives.
  • Evaluate and provide strategic recommendations on Business Development costing models to ensure they accurately reflect near-real Business-As-Usual (BAU) conditions.
  • Lead and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) workshops within operations to identify and address underlying issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma of Engineering or Business Administration required.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean practitioner credentials preferred.
  • Formal training or certification in Data analytics or Robotic Process Automation (RPA), especially WSQ-certified programs, is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated mastery of various Lean or Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in implementing OPEX initiatives at a country level.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing capacity.
  • Exceptional team and workshop facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen.
