We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Midnight Shift Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations during overnight hours. This role is crucial in ensuring operational continuity and service excellence during night shifts, including weekends and public holidays. The ideal candidate is a strong leader capable of managing teams, handling real-time issues, and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise warehouse and logistics operations during the midnight shift.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound activities, order processing, inventory handling, and dispatch accuracy.
  • Ensure smooth shift transitions and coordinate with day-shift teams for continuity.
  • Enforce safety, security, and compliance standards at all times.
  • Monitor real-time performance metrics and take prompt corrective actions.
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff and forklift operators during off-hours.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues including delivery delays, system errors, or manpower shortages.
  • Maintain accurate records using logistics software (WMS/TMS/ERP).
  • Conduct briefings and ensure clear communication of shift goals and tasks.
  • Work regularly on weekends and public holidays , with off-days scheduled accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Prior experience managing night shift or 24/7 operations preferred.
  • Solid understanding of logistics workflows, warehouse equipment, and safety practices.
  • Proficient in using WMS, ERP, or inventory management systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating schedule.
  • Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Forklift license or certification (where applicable).
  • Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or continuous improvement practices.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Standing, walking, and lifting may be required throughout the shift.
  • Midnight shift operations with rotating off-days.
