Role Description

As a Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Staff, you will play a vital role in the smooth financial operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the timely, accurate, and high-volume data entry of invoices related to various strata plans. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, speed, and a high level of accuracy to support the financial reporting and compliance requirements of the organization.

  • Accurately enter hundreds of invoices weekly into the accounting system, ensuring data completeness and precision.
  • Input key invoice details including strata plan numbers, invoice amounts, dates, and vendor names.
  • Perform initial invoice checks and prepare them for manager review.
  • Ensure coding aligns with specific strata plans and internal financial categorization.
  • Assist with account reconciliation and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors as needed.
  • Maintain digital records and ensure proper documentation of all payable transactions.
  • Collaborate closely with strata managers and internal teams to uphold timely payment cycles.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of any 4-year course
  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounts payable roles, ideally in a high-volume setting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software; experience with Strata Connect or Smarter Systems is a strong plus.
  • High speed and accuracy in data entry.
  • Solid understanding of invoice workflows and accounting processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors proactively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to liaise with both internal teams and external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently under time constraints.
