Delivery Driver ( DOT) for an Amazon DSP (Delivery Service Partner)

Job Summary
J. Irvin Logistics (JRIL), an Amazon Delivery Service Partner, is seeking DOT-certified Delivery Drivers to join our fast-paced, high-performance team. As a Delivery Driver, you will safely drive a DOT-regulated delivery vehicle to deliver Amazon packages to homes and businesses. This role requires a valid Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a DOT- regulated delivery van in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Load, organize, and deliver Amazon packages efficiently and accurately to residential and commercial addresses
  • Navigate using handheld GPS and Amazon delivery apps
  • Follow all local traffic laws, company policies, and DOT regulations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
  • Lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shift
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service
  • Work independently and in varying weather conditions
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and customers as needed

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license (CDL not required)
  • Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, no major at-fault accidents)
  • Able to pass a criminal background check and 5-panel drug screening
  • Comfortable driving and working in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Prior delivery or professional driving experience preferred, especially in a DOT-regulated vehicle
