Overview

A Delivery Consultant (DC) in ProServe is a technical expert who works directly with customers to implement and manage cloud solutions that align with their business objectives. This role combines deep technical knowledge of AWS services with strong consulting skills to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

A Delivery Consultant works closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, and how those objectives can be met through their cloud journey. Delivery Consultants are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing AWS solutions, providing technical guidance and best practices, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful project delivery. Delivery Consultants collaborate cross-functionally and leverage their expertise in cloud technologies to drive their customers success.

Delivery Consultants have a deep understanding of AWS products and services, including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies. Delivery Consultants are proficient in delivering complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. Delivery Consultants work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. They are responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project. Delivery Consultants are often trusted advisors to our customers, providing guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions to address customer challenges. They share knowledge within the organization, through mentoring, training, creation of reusable artifacts and process improvements.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ year of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Cloud Application Migration and Modernisation experience
  • Strong full-stack application development experience with 1 or more of the following programming languages: Java/Spring/boot, Angular/ReactJS, Golang, dotnet
  • Experience with streaming, event-driven platform - Kafka, Kinesis and knowledge of REST/JSON, GraphQL
Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Terraform)
  • AWS experience in Containers (EKS or ECS), Microservices
  • Experience with streaming, event-driven platform - Kafka, Kinesis and knowledge of REST/JSON, GraphQL
  • AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred
  • Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
