Cyber Security Specialist (Red Team / Global Remote

About the Role

Kreovate Nusa Digital is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist (Red Team) to lead proactive defense and offensive security operations across our global digital infrastructure.
You will play a key role in identifying, simulating, and mitigating real-world attack scenarios — working closely with our DevOps, engineering, and security teams to strengthen detection, resilience, and response capabilities.

As part of our global remote team, you’ll design and execute red team operations, perform adversary emulation, and develop tools and tactics to enhance threat visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct penetration testing, red-team operations, and adversary simulations.

  • Perform vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, and exploit validation.

  • Monitor and detect anomalies through SIEM, IDS/IPS, and log analytics tools.

  • Collaborate with DevOps to embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Lead incident response and post-exploitation investigations when required.

  • Research emerging attack vectors and develop custom scripts/tools for testing.

  • Document methodologies, write post-engagement reports, and propose mitigations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or red team operations.

  • Proficiency with Wireshark, Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, Nmap, or equivalent tools.

  • Strong understanding of network protocols, privilege escalation, and exploit development.

  • Familiar with Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Experience in threat detection, incident handling, and security automation scripting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications: OSCP, CEH, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+.

  • Proven experience in bug bounty programs, client pentests, or authorized red-team operations.

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps, SOC operations, and threat hunting frameworks.

  • Contributions to open-source tools or public exploit research are a plus.

Pay

Range (Annual):

  • Minimum: USD 4,000

  • Maximum: USD 7,000

  • Currency: USD
