Job Description:

We are looking for a freelance children’s storybook author/editor to join our team. This unique role blends traditional storytelling with innovative AI-assisted writing, giving you the opportunity to shape the future of children’s literature. You will write and refine stories for children aged 4–10, ensuring they are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with educational values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create or edit original and engaging stories for children, leveraging your literary skills.
  • Edit and refine AI-generated drafts into polished, high-quality manuscripts.
  • Ensure content is age-appropriate, creative, and meets educational/entertainment standards.
  • Stay updated with trends in children's literature.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or have completed an undergraduate degree in English, Literature, or a closely related field.
  • Strong creative writing skills with an ability to craft compelling stories for a young audience.
  • Strong interest in writing stories for children.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Prior experience in writing, editing, or publishing is a plus.
  • Keen interest in AI technology and its application in creative writing.
  • Do not require any technical AI / Software-related experience, this is purely a role for candidates interested in a career in writing.
